About Cineira Studios
Cineira Studios is a family-owned independent film and television company founded by writer-director-producer Dan Neira, whose career spans four decades of film, television, and commercial production. Cineira develops and owns entertainment IP that elevates the human spirit: stories unafraid to confront darkness, but never content to leave humanity there.
The current slate includes the feature Deadly Winter, the epic A Dweller on Two Planets, and the short film Through Her Eyes. Cineira serves audiences hungry for meaning, craft, and respect. Films with meaning, without preaching.
Why Cineira
Cineira was created around a simple belief: strong intellectual property deserves time, stewardship, and a clear creative vision.
Rather than operating solely as a production-services company, Cineira develops and nurtures projects as long-term creative assets — originating stories internally, identifying compelling existing properties, assembling the right collaborators, and determining the best path toward production and distribution.
Our role can begin long before cameras roll.
A project may start with an original screenplay, a literary property, a concept, or a relationship with a rights holder. Cineira’s job is to help shape that material into something capable of becoming a compelling motion picture or television property.
What We Develop
Feature films, television concepts, characters, worlds, and stories originated and developed through Cineira Studios.
Books, literary works, life rights, and other intellectual property with strong potential for adaptation into film or television.
Properties developed collaboratively with producers, filmmakers, writers, rights holders, talent, financiers, and other strategic partners.
Cineira is not limited to one method of development. The structure should serve the property — not the other way around.
Every project is different.
Cineira may originate and develop a property internally, partner with an established producer, collaborate with a rights holder, attach creative talent, bring in outside financing, license or option material, or participate as a producing partner.
Some projects may ultimately be produced directly through Cineira.
Others may move forward with outside production companies, financiers, distributors, studios, or platforms.
The objective is not to force every property through the same model. It is to build the right creative, financial, and production structure around each story.
How We Work
The Slate
Cineira Studios is being built around a growing slate of film and television properties rather than a single production.
Different projects may exist at different stages of development — from early concepts and rights discussions to screenplays, packaging, financing, and production.
Our current public slate includes Deadly Winter and A Dweller on Two Planets, with additional properties being developed for the future.
The Long View
The long-term vision for Cineira is to build a durable library of original and acquired intellectual property.
Some stories may become feature films.
Others may find their strongest expression through television, partnerships, licensing, or future forms of media.
What matters is developing properties with the potential to endure beyond a single production cycle.
Our aim is to create and steward stories that can grow over time — creatively, commercially, and across generations of audiences.
Creative Compass
Cineira gravitates toward stories with emotional consequence — stories involving family, identity, courage, sacrifice, resilience, faith, redemption, hope, and the choices that shape human lives.
Genre can change.
Scale can change.
The principle remains:
The story must be worth telling.
Founder
Cineira Studios was founded by filmmaker, producer, director, and media entrepreneur Dan Neira, whose career has spanned television, international production, commercial directing, independent feature films, digital media, and emerging technology.
His return to narrative filmmaking became the foundation for Cineira’s current development slate and long-term studio vision.

Collaboration
Cineira welcomes conversations with producers, filmmakers, writers, rights holders, talent representatives, financiers, distributors, production companies, and other potential collaborators.
Not every relationship begins with a finished project.
Sometimes it begins with a story worth exploring.
